The Pica-Pica Service Description Crawler

Pica-Pica is a tool to populate semantic service registries with remote service description documents. The tool not only extracts the documents from well-known service directories, but also fetches and stores associated metadata such as the country of origin, the availability and the implementation technology.

The tool is written as a set of Python scripts. It was used to populate the Crowdserving portal.
