- Open Source Service Platform Research
Welcome to! The Open Source Service Platform Research initiative is committed to exploring, hosting and promoting innovative research ideas in the Internet of Services, Cloud Computing and service ecosystems. We invite researchers everywhere to use our results and to contribute back.
Showcases >> Public Demonstrations & Installations
Every now and then, we present our results not only in meetings and brainstorming sessions, but also on public stages. The most recent talk has been at KuVS-Fachgespräch on Next-Generation Service Delivery Platforms in Königswinter in April 2013, and the most recent public demonstration sessions at CeBIT 2013 in Hannover and at OUTPUT.DD and a DAAD summer internship event in Dresden in 2012. In total, more than 20 talks and demonstrations have already been performed. The picture below shows the presentation of the SPACE-Cloud extension at CeBIT 2011.
The THESEUS Innovation Centre (TIZ) in Berlin lets everybody touch, experience and try out the latest developments in the Internet of Services research area. It contains a lab area in which the latest SPACEflight live demonstrator is installed for local walk-throughs and experiments, and a demo area in which the SPACEflight scenario services can be traded along with other demos like the USDL modeller, the TEXO marketplace and a mobile service scenario.
Visit the website of the THESEUS Innovation Centre and have a look at the FlexCloud calendar to stay informed about upcoming demonstrations. We also track them in the wiki.

Much of the work on projects is either publicly funded work or comes from volunteer contributions. Please check out our credits and funding sections to learn more.
