Projects >> Social Service Network Extension
While the SPACE platform services offer basic administrative web interfaces, they do not provide a uniform user experience. Rather, marketplaces and portals shall be attached to SPACE in order to allow for flexible use cases. The Social Service Network is one such use case: Compared to traditional marketplaces, it leverages the social matchmaking aspects and community building.
This extension is realised with the Noosfero social network framework. It extends the virtual organisation product offers with service offers by interfacing the ConQo and Provider Wizard platform services. Furthermore, it ships with a small finance-related platform service to give service consumers an incentive to also become providers.
Two concrete social service networks have been realised: Crowdserving on the global level, and Servomat for academic purposes.
